I love art with a story. So I made these necklaces a few years ago but it's the pendants that have the story...
In 2017 Central Oregon was witness to a Total Solar Eclipse that had people from all over the world flocking in to celebrate. Near my home a huge festival was put on called Symbiosis. https://symbiosisgathering.com/oregon-eclipse/
We did not make it to this festival but the after gathering happened on our property. We were blessed to host an ayahuasca ceremony put on by a powerful shaman named Maima Pantera from Columbia and her people. Unfortunately I did not get to heal with the group due to being on my lady moon but I was fully involved in the feasting of fruit and chill time afterwards. Amazing conversations with some very interesting people and I can not even remember a single name lol
Before everybody went home we had a trading circle and I had a few pairs of earrings and other crafty jewelry to offer up. I traded Maima Pantera some feather earrings for these two pendants. All I know of them is that they were made from a clay mold and hand painted by a street vendor, woman and mother in Columbia.
